ISKCON Pune welcomes you to annual Bhagavat Katha festival by His Holiness Lokanath Swami Maharaj, a world renowned and widely acclaimed Kirtan singer and Bhagavat Katha speaker. His holiness speaks to large gatherings in USA, Mauritius and all over India in annually celebrated Bhagavat Katha festivals. As a spiritual guru within ISKCON, Lokanath Maharaj has been associated with Krishna Consciousness since 1972. His holiness has worked on many spiritual and educational projects such as Padayatra festival, World Holy Name Week Festival, Bhaktivedanta Academy for Spiritual Sciences (BASS), etc. Serving as ISKCON’s Padyatra Minister, He has organized Padyatras in 108 countries. His holiness has served as an ISKCON Minister for the ‘Srila Prabhupada Centennial’, whereby he coordinated a global campaign in the year 1996, and the magnificent Centennial celebrations achieved unmatched success with respect to the number of Srila Prabhupada’s books distributed, plates of prasadam served, and festivals conducted worldwide.

The Bhagavat Katha will be conducted at one of the most prestigious as well as spacious auditorium in Pune city, “Ganesh Kala Krida Manch” near Swargate from 25th to 31st Dec, 2014. The entire week will be marked by various festivities such as Jhulan yatra on 26th December, Deepotsava on 27th December, Jagannath rath yatra mahotsava on 28th December, Puspabhisheka on 31st December and many more similar events. The most significant part of carnival is daily Bhagavat Katha from 6 to 9 pm throughout the week. The katha will be followed by sumptuous prasadam.
